If you would like to register with the CNIB Foundation for Phone It Forward or other programs, please call 1-833-554-5020.
With millions of smartphones gathering dust each year as users upgrade to newer models, Phone It Forward gives Canadians a unique opportunity to donate their old phones, receive a tax receipt, and empower people who are blind in the process. CNIB wants to ensure that anyone who is blind or partially sighted can benefit from safety, independence, and enablement that a smartphone, along with the proper training, can provide. If you have sight loss, live in Canada and are registered with the CNIB Foundation, you are eligible for a free smartphone through Phone It Forward.

Our goal is to have as many people as possible register for free to Cycle for Sight, and if each raises a little or self donates, then we’ll reach our fundraising goal to find treatments and cures for blinding eye diseases. The TandemEyes Leadership Team would like to thank you for your patience during this unprecedented and challenging time. We have been patiently awaiting guidance from our government officials, public health, associated cycling clubs and affiliations to make the most informed and safest decision regarding our 2020 season.
Unfortunately, we have decided in the interest of safety for our members and their families to cancel our 2020 TandemEyes Season. We understand that this will be disappointing to our members and the cycling community as a whole, however we look forward to our 2021 TandemEyes Season where we can cycle safely. We encourage all to check the TandemEyes Website regularly as we will be using the “News and Events” section of our website to promote wellness and healthy living initiatives. Thank you for your understanding, stay safe!
